Mr. Stevens' practice
is a general one, with an emphasis on litigation at the trial and appellate
court levels, criminal defense, and employment and labor law. He
practices in Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah, the surrounding areas, and, in
association with local legal counsel when necessary and appropriate, in other jurisdictions. His
litigation experience is extensive. He has represented clients
effectively and zealously in the following areas, among others:

and labor-related civil litigation, including claims involving allegations of discrimination,
wrongful termination, whistle-blower status and retaliation, violations of ERISA,
non-compete and confidentiality agreements, labor-management relations, the
Railway Labor Act, breach of the duty of fair representation, and other employment-related matters;

and business litigation, including contractual disputes, claims of unfair
competition, antitrust matters, business torts, and corporate and securities

Mr.
Stevens' also has significant experience in providing counseling and training in
employment and labor-related matters. His experience in representing both
employers and employees in litigation gives him a unique perspective other firms
may not be able to provide. In addition to litigation, his practice has
emphasized the following:

counseling and representation by working closely with business clients to
help them address employment issues before they become problems, including
providing guidance in drafting employee handbooks and manuals, training
supervisors and employees, and assisting in making decisions concerning
hiring, layoffs, terminations, benefits, and compensation; |

employers and employees in connection with administrative claims and civil
actions involving claims of wrongful discharge, discrimination, and
retaliation; |

and drafting contractual and licensing agreements; |
