Mr. Stevens' also has significant experience in providing counseling and training in employment and labor-related matters.  His experience in representing both employers and employees in litigation gives him a unique perspective other firms may not be able to provide.  In addition to litigation, his practice has emphasized the following:

 

preventative counseling and representation by working closely with business clients to help them address employment issues before they become problems, including providing guidance in drafting employee handbooks and manuals, training supervisors and employees, and assisting in making decisions concerning hiring, layoffs, terminations, benefits, and compensation;
